Random Translators
Some translation agencies assign jobs to “translators” by rates. Whoever bids the lowest price gets the tasks.
Unfortunately these “translators” may not be trained translators, they can be anyone who claimed he/she has the ability to translate. I call them “random” because I think they are worse than “amateurish”.
So there is no quality assurance if your document ends up assigned to such a “random translator“. The translated text may be unsatisfactory. For example, the choice of words/terms is awkward or the sentences do not flow.
These are some risks of engaging “random translators”:
- You do not know who these “random translators” are.
- Your documents are circulated among random persons.
- Your documents may not be kept in secured places.
